The Wiseman Connection Meeting (1)

Meeting held at Cardinal Wiseman to discuss how to shape and become involved in The Wiseman Connection.

We discussed how the successful launch of The Wiseman Connection has taken place and how we can start to grow.  The guests also included Richard Kingshott who discussed how we can get involved in offering work placements, talks to students and mentoring support.  Kirsti Greenway attended to discuss how we will be helping to fundraise for Cardinal Wiseman students to go to Malawi – how much that can benefit both the students and the children and families in Lilongwe, Malawi.

We had a great mix of talent around the table. We will meet once per term and welcome new members as we continue to build our connections.

Next Steps (Literally!)

We also want to build participation in events – beginning with the Coventry Festival of Running 5K and Half Marathon.  Places are being snapped up – time to get running even as a novice …download the Couch to 5K app!!  Event takes place Sunday 5th April 2020.  We will pay entrance for first 20 runners and hope to raise sponsorship towards the 6th Form Garden project at Cardinal Wiseman.
